Mary Kay Alpers
Liturgical Minister for 4:30 Mass
Mary Kay was born and raised on a farm near Johnstown, NY. After graduating from The College of St Rose with a BS Degree in Math, she taught in a number of local high schools, at HVCC and in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After teaching for about 15 years, she retired and became a Real Estate Agent. This occupied her time for about 20 years. Mary Kay has been widowed since 2004, but she am blessed to have a very large family—2 daughters, 3 stepdaughters. 2 stepsons, 4 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and 3 step great grandsons. St. Michaels has been her parish for 30+ years. The opening song—“All Are Welcome” -says it all as to why St Michael’s is special to her. Her favorite quote—When in doubt, don’t.
